Privacy statement

Your privacy is important to us. That is why Radboudumc handles your personal data with great care. If you apply for a position with us, we will treat your information confidentially and use it solely for our recruitment and selection process. We do not share your data with third parties unless we are legally required to do so or unless we have agreed otherwise with you. On this page, you can read which personal data we process when you apply for a job or visit our careers website, why we process this data, and how long we retain it.

How we use your personal data

When you apply for a position, we process the information you provide to us, such as your name, contact details, CV, cover letter, and any other information you choose to share during the application process. We use this information exclusively for recruitment and selection purposes. Only employees involved in your application have access to your personal data. For certain positions, additional screening, reference checks, or a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) may be part of the recruitment process. If this applies to the position you have applied for, we will inform you accordingly.
If your application is unsuccessful, we will anonymize your personal data one year after the completion of your most recent application process. We retain your data during this period so that we can contact you if a suitable vacancy becomes available.

You have the right to access your personal data, update it, or request that it be anonymized earlier at any time. To do so, please send your request to [email protected].

Careers website

When you visit our careers website, we use cookies to ensure the website functions properly and—if you have given your consent—to analyse website usage and improve its content. You can also sign up for a job alert. We only use the information required to notify you of new vacancies. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Your privacy rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data. You may also object to the processing of your data or withdraw any consent you have previously given.
